Welcome to the Grange Farm website, we hope you enjoy your e-visit and will choose to come and visit us in person.

We would like to show you our holiday cottages, campsite and fishing lakes, which are set in the Lincolnshire Wolds - designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. We moved here in 1999 and fell in love with this part of Lincolnshire. We think you will too.

Grange Farm is surrounded by beautiful countryside: woods, valleys, streams and rivers, with dry valleys cut out by the glacial melt waters which formed the landscapes we see today. Over the ridge and the Bluestone Heath Road are rolling acres of arable land producing much of our country's cereals and fresh produce.

The Poet Laureate Alfred Tennyson was born at Somersby just 2 miles away and the little stream at the bottom of our fields is the same babbling brook mentioned in his work.

Before we came here, we thought Lincolnshire was all flat fenland! It seems that the Wolds are a well kept secret.

Grange Farm's location really is ideal to reach the wide variety of attractions that Lincolnshire has to offer.

In the early 1990s the three holiday cottages were sympathetically converted from a former barn, and are brick built with exposed beams and brickwork, and the old original upper floor supports are still in place resting on the stone padstones The holiday cottages are graded by the English Tourist Board as three star self catering.

"Brilliant peaceful week, just what we needed ..
The flowers were gorgeous, very thoughtful, as you both always are. This was our third year here, definitely won't be our last. ..Fishing good, weather bright and sunny, feel really refreshed ready to continue with our lives. Thank you Val and Bill"

We opened the campsite in 2003 at the top of the big field, and it is licensed as a Caravan Club Certificated Location (CL) catering for five touring vans.

We have five hard standings all with electric hook up to 16 amp. There is also a grassed area for anyone preferring to be on grass.

The screened service area is situated on the site. It has the fresh and waste water points, chemical disposal toilet and bin area. We do ask that everyone assists with recycling. Full details are posted.

In the barn there are separate male and female WCs and a shower. Visitors are welcome to use the laundry and other facilities in the barn too.

The Fishing Lakes were constructed in about 1993. They are about 100 yards from the cottages and campsite.

To the delights of our rural location, add peace and quiet and wildlife. You might see our Barn Owl, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Tree Sparrow, House Sparrow, Woodpeckers Green and Pied, Kingfisher, Goldfinch, Yellowhammer, Blue Tits, Blackbirds, Thrush, Chaffinch, and more. Watch out for Deer, Fox, Weasel, Stoat, Vole, Water Vole, Rabbits and Hare (our favourite as you might have guessed!).

Lastly, it is only a short stroll down the lane to our village pub and restaurant. They are open all day for food and drink.
