To comply with the wishes of the majority of our visitors and to comply with the law, we ask that you refrain from smoking when in the cottages.

To welcome you to our farm, and thank you for choosing to stay with us, we provide a bottle of wine, a pint of milk and a beverage tray. So straight away you can sit and relax with a cuppa or a glass!

Oakleaf Cottage
This is the cottage to the left of the photo and sleeps 4 people. Upstairs, there is space for a cot in the double bedroom and there is a twin bedded room with full size 'cabin' crossover style beds. The bathroom/WC is on the ground floor and has a shower over the bath.

"Thank you for another excellent week, everything was perfect, the same as last time.
Hope to see you soon."

- J and P, Hemel Hempstead

Beechwood Cottage

Downstairs, each cottage has an open plan living cum dining area with a fully fitted kitchen. In the lounges there is a three piece suite, dining furniture, coffee tables and a colour TV, DVD, Video, Radio, and CD player. There are games and books.

Outside the cottages is the shared garden with a children's play area, garden furniture and barbeque area - ideal for relaxing during the warmer months.

The barn is a few steps away and here you will find the laundry facility. This is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer. They are free of charge to cottage residents. There is a small charge to campsite visitors for usage. There is an iron and board and inside and outside drying lines. Also in the barn you will find the farm Tourist Information Area.

Via another door into the barn there is a secure cycle and fishing tackle store. The bait fridge is in here.

This area also provides a drying room, with a de-humidifyer to deal with wet walking, cycling and fishing gear.

The cottages are let on an individual basis, they can accommodate 4 – 12 people, but are suitable for larger groups of family and friends who wish to holiday together. (However, they are not interlinked).

Your cottage will be available from 15:00 on the first day and you are asked to depart by 10:00 on your last day.

Do you hate being separated from your pets and worry when they are in kennels? Why not bring them with you? We have been host to dogs, cats, guinea pigs and a budgie to date. All we ask is that you bring their beds, cages, leads etc and ensure they are house trained. We would ask that they remain downstairs and are not left alone unless caged. We have designated bins for "poo bags".

If you need to keep in touch with the outside world, newspapers can be delivered, just give your order details on the booking form. Please pay the paper lady direct.

The cottages are fully equipped and we provide all linens, towels, heating and cleaning materials.

Recycling Information

We are pleased that the District Council has provided recycling bins. Notices give full details of what is allowed in each bin.

The grey bin is for paper and cardboard, some plastics and steel and aluminium cans. At the cottages there is also a green bin for green waste such as peelings.

The usual black bins are for general household waste. We separate glass and take this to our local recycling bins.

For more general information on recycling, please visit recyclenow.com.
