Our three self catering cottages are set in 17 acres of land in the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Salmonby lies 5.5 miles north-east of Horncastle and 10 miles south of Louth, Tetford parish lies to the north-east and Somersby parish to the south.
The Poet Laureate Alfred, Lord Tennyson was born at Somersby just two miles away and the stream at the bottom of our land is the babbling brook mentioned in his work.
A section of the famous Viking Way runs across our land and is featured in a 7 mile circular walk produced by Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service titled "In the Footsteps of Roman Legions." The Bluestone Heath Road which tops the ridge following the old reindeer routes of long ago is nearby.
On a clear day from here you can see the coast.
